Comuna Que Pariu is a street carnival bloco from Rio de Janeiro that turns the celebration into a political act. With vibrant music and energy, the bloco uses carnival as a means of expression and resistance.
This year, I had the opportunity to illustrate the bloco’s official t-shirt, inspired by the original samba composed by the bateria, "No Amnesty for Fascists".
The artwork, created in Adobe Illustrator, seeks to capture the strength and combative spirit that makes Comuna a powerful tradition in the streets.
